Term 1 Week 2 Learning Log
Back to my post for lit. Mr chua is absent for lesson and Ms Chala came to relieve my class. We started the lesson by going through our cinquains. Ms Chala called out some names to read out their cinquain. Ms Chala told us about William Shakespeare plays which is what we going to learn for this year literature. William Shakespeare have four plays. They are the Macbeth, Merchant of Venice, Romeo & Juliet and Midsummer Night's Dream. The first play we going to know is Macbeth. It was about Macbeth and his fellow soldier, Banquo who had just finish a battle and is on the way home when three witches suddenly appear before them. The three witches told Macbeth and Banquo a astounding news that one day Macbeth will become king but Banquo's children will succeed his throne. Macbeth becomes obsessed to those witches prophecy. Thus, Macbeth killed anyone that will obstruct him and his children to succeed the throne. Ms Chala also elaborate more on the conversation between the three witches. She gave us a homework which is to draw a scene where the witches are having their conversation. Ending my reflection here.
