Monday: Today's lesson was abit off. We got scoled by Mr. Chua as some of my classmates did not ahd in their homewrok on time. Once half the lesson of scolding had passed, we went through scene 2. But before that we had a puiz to refresh our memory befor proceeding. The lesson ended soon after we completed scene 2.







Term 3 Week 2 Learning Log: Thursday: As there was no school on Monday because of Youth Day. Literature lesson carry on on Thursday. So, Mr Chua came in to class but once he is at the teacher's table, he look very unsatisfied with something, which is our submission of homework. Quite a few of my classmates did not hand in the homework, and because of this, Mr Chua wasted time on scolding. Because of this, we wasted 15 minutes of learning time thanks to those classmates. Mr Chua distributed the text that we paid for last lesson. The text was on Elvis Presley. Mr. Chua told us to draw a table of three columns. The first column was “what do I know” the second was “what do I want to know” and the last column was “what have I learnt”. We went through the text and I learnt that he was the best selling solo artist and that he earned the nickname “The King of Rock and Roll”. He was famous in the 1950’s and 60’s. After that, Mr Chua wanted to show us a video about Elvis Presley: But, sad to say. When Mr Chua was just about to play it, we realised that there are no sound. Mr Chua take a look of the speaker and found out that someone have actually turned the volume of the speakers to mute. Just when Mr Chua turn it back to normal, the bell has rang. Mr Chua was so angry, we were told to watch it ourselves at home. Self Reflection: Our behaviour today is really bad. We make so much noise, did not hand in homework, and someone went to switch the speaker to mute. Today's lesson is not conducted well, i hope we can have everyone to submit homework on time and don't do such silly things again. i have learnt in Elvis Presley text that many celebrities have problems which they have difficulty in solving they will consumed drugs and get addicted. End up losing their life. There are many ways to solve problem, once you get addicted to dangerous items like drugs, you will lose your live and you will not get to fulfil your expectation as a singer.

Term 3 Week 1 Learning Log:
Monday: It was our first lesson of term 3. Is so going to be very fun as we will be acting. As usual, Mr chua is still our literature teacher. Woohoo!! We greeted him and after that he told us what will we be doing for this semester.
We were introduced to 2 new plays “Are you lonesome tonight” and “The mighty mandarin”. He get us to pay 25 cents each to the Literature representative to print out the texts of Elvis Presley for us. He also explained to us about the criteria on our end of year and the upcoming common test. Mr Chua moved on to the play that we will be acting. The 2 play is Romeo & Juliet and The Merchant of Venice. We were divided into groups of 4, Alpha, Bravo, Charlie, Delta. I am very proud to be in the... CHARLIE group. Woohoo!! My group members are Vivien, Wei Ting, Rachel, Hui Min, Benedict, Ray, Khairul, Zul, Keefe. We were been given homework which is to do research about the roles of the theatrical production staff example, theartrical director, producer, make up artist, propert master etc. We have to place our homework in a box by next tuesday where Mr Chua can just collect the completed homework immediately and will not waste precious time. We greeted Mr Chua good-bye and get ready for the next lesson ^^

Thursday: Mr Chua came in and we greeted him^^ We were asked to get our lit file and a pen to line up outside as we are going to Aces gallery. We sat there in groups to discuss about our play. We have decided to use Romeo & Juliet. We were deciding who to do which roles. *Time Flies* The bell has rang, and we went back class for the next lesson. I guess the play will be very very fun and interesting.
