Monday: Mr. Chua came in as usual and once we’ve greeted him we all sat down and lesson began soon after. We were then reminded for the topics that were going to be tested for our End-Year Examinations. We then proceeded on to the text to analysed scene 1. The characters were Redhead and Older Elvis which was the unwell and drug addicted Elvis. After going through scene 1, we went through a couple of words we didn’t know. We were also able to catch a glimpse of pictures and a video during his last performance. He did not look too well and was sweating due to his drug addiction and was only able to live a short period of time.
Thursday: we were analysing of Older Elvis and Redhead’s characters today. Why Elvis’s girlfriend was called Redhead? Was she hot tempered? What did she do in the scene? These were some of the questions we were asked and so we had to reanalysed the scene. The reason why Elvis calls his girlfriend Redhead is because she has red hair not that she is hot tempered. She cares for him and loves him. But he does not show his affection and care towards Redhead. He still feels lonely as everyone as left him. I think he should really just move on cause there is nothing he can do to get his loves ones back.
